Social media can be confusing, especially as a business owner. It seems like every week there is another medium through which we have to talk to our consumers. The way we present ourselves across the vast waters of social media can actually be a manageable task once we get the hang of it. One of the most important things you can do when branding your business is to be true to your brand’s style and message across all your social media. Use your website as your hub or “home base” and then branch out into your other marketing channels.

This doesn’t mean you have to have the exact same content on everything that has your name on it. Your facebook page might have a different call to action than your website. What it does need to have is a similar feel and experience as your website. It is so hard to get someones attention in todays world, if you don’t make it as easy as possible for people to recognize your brand and identify with it then you are doing yourself and your business a huge disservice. Do some soul searching, find your brands “spirit animal.” If it takes sleeping on the top of a mountain for 10 ten then so be it. Whatever it takes, just find what makes your brand unique and then slather that style and feel across everything your brand touches.
